BRAVE is designed to equip direct service providers with tools and resources to serve vulnerable populations in a trauma-informed manner. When providers are BRAVE-trained they are better equipped to meet the unique needs of those they serve in a safe and respectful manner. Individuals receiving services from trained, trauma-informed advocates are more likely to engage in support services. This increases the chance of their safety and long-lasting well-being.

    Recognizing red flags in human trafficking is of utmost importance. Empowerment through knowledge is key to effectively combating human trafficking and unveiling its signs

  • Trauma

    Understanding trauma is foundational in offering effective support to clients experiencing trafficking. It allows for a more compassionate and informed approach, addressing their unique needs and promoting healing.

  • Reporting

    Reporting human trafficking is a critical step in the fight against exploitation. Your vigilance can save lives. If you see something, say something. Report suspected human trafficking incidents to the National Human Trafficking Hotline at 1-888-373-7888. Together, we can make a difference
